Lonestar Feature Teams Program

Vision Statement

At Lonestar, we envision a player development experience that transcends the game. Through consistent, high-level training and a deeply human-centered approach, we cultivate not only technical excellence but also personal leadership, mental resilience, and ethical character.

Our goal is to create an environment where athletes learn to own their growth, embrace challenge, and lead with humility — becoming the kind of leaders who strengthen teams, inspire communities, and carry the lessons of soccer into every area of life.

What We Offer

Academy-Style, Team-Based Training

Players rotate through sessions with licensed coaches, gaining multiple perspectives while maintaining a clear developmental focus. Training balances individual growth with team-centered progress.

Holistic, Multi-Dimensional Development

Every session includes a blend of technical training, injury-prevention fitness, leadership development, and reflection. The goal is to develop well-rounded athletes with purpose and vision.

Year-Round, Indoor Consistency

Training is held at TTC 4, a professional indoor facility featuring a turf field, fitness center, and classroom space. This allows us to train through all seasons, weather-proof and uninterrupted.

Integrated Mentorship

Players receive guidance from Lonestar FC coaches and former players, building mentorship relationships that encourage growth, self-awareness, and long-term success.

Weekly Training Structure

Training is structured, purposeful, and progressive — ensuring that every player is constantly building toward their next level.

Core Development Areas

Technical Development

Our approach uses a Learn – Repeat – Apply model. Players first absorb core techniques, then reinforce them through repetition, and finally apply them under pressure in game-like environments.

Injury Prevention

Discipline off the ball is as important as performance on it. These sessions build the physical resilience and mindset needed for long-term development and peak performance.

Leadership Development

Leadership training is woven into every aspect of the program. Players learn to lead through humility, service, and courage — gaining confidence not just to perform, but to elevate those around them.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Teams train in a professional environment that supports both athletic and personal development
